Colorado’s Hidden Gem…

  • Fishing

Sportsmen’s Paradise offers world class fly fishing for various varieties of trout along a private stretch of The South Platte River. Emphasis is placed on protecting this precious resource through restricted catch-and-release only areas of the river as well as habitat protection and restoration in cooperation with CUSP (Coalition for the Upper South Platte).

  • Hiking

There are miles and miles of hiking trails in and around Sportsmen’s Paradise with a variety difficulty levels. Whether you want to stroll along one of the community roads with the deer or challenge yourself with trails that offer significant elevation changes and allow for a spectacular view of the valley below, the choice is yours. Remember, leave no trace!

  • Off Roading

Although there is a strict 15 mph speed limit on all Sportsmen’s Paradise roads, there are hundreds of miles of forest service roads with easy, direct access from the property. Trail riding can be a fun event for the entire family but it is essential to stay on the marked roads in order to protect the national forest. As with hiking, leave no trace!

  • Community Events

Sportsmen’s Paradise prides itself as a friendly community that supports each other with many activities. Events include but are not limited to support of The Healing Waters program, monthly first Friday socials at the pavilion, river clean-up activities and an annual picnic with plenty of food, friends and even a youth fishing contest with great prizes
